Built for Us, by Us
Odyssey Pride is a premier travel and lifestyle company dedicated to celebrating and uplifting the Black gay community through luxury, empowerment, and transformative experiences. Founded in 2025 by venture capitalist Laban King after a decade of unwavering determination, Odyssey Pride was born from a belief that our community deserves the same access to world-class, luxury experiences as others. When banks, sponsors, and investors said no, Laban said yes, funding the vision himself to prove that Black gay excellence belongs at the center of luxury travel.
Our mission is to create spaces where individuals can fully embrace their identities, connect with community, gain valuable knowledge, and make unforgettable memories in environments rooted in joy, authenticity, and empowerment.
